The Queen of the Bargain Bucket, A.K.A. the Queen of Groupon, A.K.A. Lady Garbage, or simply Lady Gaga is on a mission to have her stadium shows “sold out” across the globe.
After the 96% OFF deal on Groupon in Brazil (see the controversial post here), for her concert in Lima, Peru, she has another super deal:
BUY 3 TICKETS, YOU GET ONE FREE!
Update 09/09/2012: by purchasing thee tickets in any zone with the Ripley Card, you will get one free ticket for the north grandstand.
So for every three tickets sold in Peru, they will be giving a free ticket to the other end of the stadium. That way, Lady Gaga makes sure the stadium looks completely “full” in pictures and videos.
Check the “north grandstand” - “Norte”, where the free tickets holders will be seated (in purple) for that venue:
Here’s the link for Conciertos Peru for you to check for yourselves.
Getting back to the controversial 96% Off deal on Groupon Brazil:
Some people said that little monsters visited the website and said there is no such deal there. But here’s the thing: the offer was for a limited time only.
Here’s the original image I was sent:
On your left-hand side, above the message that states “2,186 people already bought this”, there is a note with a countdown clock that says:
“This offer is available for 1 day, 1:04:42”
At the time that image was taken, people had one day, one hour, four minutes and 42 seconds to get that deal.
So if you’re looking for the same offer NOW, you won’t find it. It has expired.
Lady Gaga has had similar deals in England, France, Germany, and everywhere she’s been with her show this year. Implying this is fake just because the deal has expired is illogical.
What’s next? Will little monsters say, by the end of the year, that the Born Reductive High School Ball never existed? Will they say that the only reason why the MDNA Tour is the #1 tour of the year is that Gaga never went on tour in 2012? Because, you know, if reality does not suit them, they lie.
On a related note:
One of the places Lady Gaga will be performing in Brazil, Porto Alegre, is being described by a reader from Brazil as a parking lot. I wonder how many people will attend the show. Any other Brazilians to comment on that?
The FLOP THIS WAY BALL surely seems to be the tour of the decade.
