This is not the kind of post we usually make here, but this is too good to let it go unnoticed:
Little monster triumphantly arriving at the Lady Gaga concert in São Paulo, Brazil:
As gracious as Lady Gaga harself!
Speaking of her, while Gaga is recovering from a failed publicity stunt minor operation - which she compared to the “unique family situations, school environments, health issues, homelessness, and identity struggles” her fans go through (yes, she is THAT mental) - Madonna is getting ready for a highly publicized appearance at the NYC Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards, presenting the prestigious Vito Russo Award to Anderson Cooper on March 16.
2013 is shaping up to be an awesome follow up to the incredible MDNA year! Madonna’s MDNA Tour DVD will be out soon, and her #SecretProject with Steven Klein is about to see the light of day as well.
Image from Madonna’s Secret Project with Steven Klein, revealed by the artist herself on her Instagram account a few minutes ago.
What happens when Madonna is not on tour?
On a serious note, Madonna has already done another project in collaboration with Giovanni Bianco, Arianne Phillips and Steven Klein in early February, besides her secret project with Klein filmed/photographed in Argentina in December 2012.
I say new video project + magazine spread. Any suggestions?
Charlie Hides, be careful, monsters will start sending death threats in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5…
A thriller starring Madonna and Lady Gaga is in the making.
Inspired by real life events.

Lady Gaga’s first hit, Just Dance, sounds awfully like this old Samsung ringtone. I just made this video with both songs so you could compare them:
Come on, Lady Gaga! Not one song from your catalog is original?
Queen of Rip-Offs, yes, indeed!
The Samsung ringtune is “The Secret Only for U” by C.P.S Technologies.
Look at the bright side, little monsters: I made Lady Gaga look hot in this pic.
Thanks to Alexander for the heads-up.
First Facebook reveals their 2012 trends list and Gaga doesn’t even appear on the top 10 most talked about public figures (while Madonna is at #6). Then Miss Germanotta loses her crown as the most followed celebrity on Twitter to Justin Bieber. Then YouTube decides to clean its closet, revealing that over 156 million views Gaga had on her VEVO channel were fake. Now this:

Lady Gaga is named “2012’s Fallen Star” by AccuraCast - London’s leading search engine marketing agency (click here).
AccuraCast reports:
“When we consider how busy Lady Gaga has been over the course of 2012, her fall in online popularity is astonishing and even more so if we consider the influence of the internet in launching her career. In April 2012 she commenced the Born This Way Ball and then in August she launched her own fragrance, appearing in cities across the globe to promote this. She also lost and gained weight controversially, after admitting to suffering from an eating disorder, openly discussed her use of drugs and appeared at London Fashion Week. The declining number of searches, which is lingering dangerously close to the level it was when she burst onto the scene in 2008, indicates that we are all a little bored with Lady Gaga’s antics!”
Does it come as a surprise?
Of course not. I’ve been saying this for a long time: Lady Gaga is on her way to Lauper Land. These charts and lists only prove what I have been saying on this blog since I started it a year ago.
We can also point out that Lady Gaga has fallen not only on the Internet, but also in real life. her current tour, the Born This Way Ball, had its ass kicked by Madonna’s MDNA Tour, her latest album (Born This Way) sold less than both her first and second releases (Fame and Fame Monster). And even Jennifer Lopez toppled her from the top spot on Forbes‘ Celebrity 100 last year, as Queerty points out.
In my opinion, Lady Gaga will do better if her next album/singles also underperform on the charts. It will be a huge embarrassment for her to have a hit album/single being considered a comeback only after 4 and a half years in the business with two and a half albums under her name. Embarrassing! But that do you think about it? [comments section below].
Thanks bplenc for the contribution.
PS: The Brazilian Rolling Stone magazine has also published an article about it (click on the link).
YouTube slashed 176 million views from Lady Gaga’s VEVO channel this week. The move comes exactly one month after the video-sharing site, owned by Google, stripped the cumulative view counts of channels belonging to Universal Music Group (UMG), Sony/BMG, and RCA Records by more than 2 billion views.

The purge, which came Monday, Jan. 21, is the lone negative outlier in a sea of positive view-accumulation days for the worldwide pop artist. Before YouTube slashed her total, Gaga’s VEVO channel on the video-sharing site had accumulated more than 500,000 views every day since at least Oct. 28, according to YouTube statistics analysts at VidStatsX. Since the purge, Gaga’s VEVO channel has accumulated slightly more than 3.2 million views - as the Daily Dot reported.

Of course, Lady Gaga was not the only one affected by this. But she is the solo artist whose real numbers are more discrepant than others. The sad thing is that you wouldn’t even know that - do you want to know why?
Because, as usual, the mainstream media (like the Huffington Post) purposely left Lady Gaga out of their article. They only name check people like Beyonce, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Justin Biber, Alicia Keys (and some others) - but they don’t even mention Lady Gaga and the 176 million fake views about to be removed from her VEVO channel.
Does anyone still think I overstate when I say the mainstream media protects Shady Gaga? Is anyone surprised?

Here we see her own fans throwing things at her - including a bottle (minute 3:10):
Here, you can watch little monsters burning a T-shirt with Madonna’s picture while they call her names: “cunt”, “old hag”, “bitch”:
Very mature, as usual. NOT.
Thanks madonnasfault and i-m-just-riding for the contribution.

I could not be happier tonight. We made it. We chose the right man for the White House. Four more years moving forward, with a Government that offer people the opportunity to change towards a fairer world, equality for all.
It’s time to celebrate.
El Colombiano, the leading newspaper in the Antioquia in Colombia published yesterday this article regarding the failure of Lady Gaga in Colombia.

Under the headline “The phenomenon Lady Gaga gave no results in show in Bogota”, they report that in Colombia Lady Gaga “has sold less than 50% of the box office”. Her show is in three days, by the way.
They also report the FLOP Lady Gaga’s tour is in other Latin American nations:
“In Costa Rica, where the concert will be held on November 3, she sold just over 21,000 tickets when the capacity of people expected is 38,000”.
Juan Pablo Ospina, the businessman and promoter of the Born This Way Ball in Colombia said: “Lady Gaga was a media boom. Locally, she disappeared last year and can not be compared with the trajectory of other artists such as Madonna or Paul McCartney”.
Ouch!
You know that when the concert promoter does not try to cover up the failure his event is, it is because he really is pissed off for all the money he’s lost investing in it.
Do not forget that the Colombian promoters were already offering FREE TICKETS and giving a $23,500 cash REBATE for those who had already bought her tickets, which had already been cut from $382,000 to $147,500 (a $240,000 discount) - click here to read all about it.
In the meantime, Madonna’s MDNA TOUR stage structure can be seen being built in Colombia, once again, for Lady Gaga’s only concert in the country:

It’s important to remind you that Madonna’s first Colombian show sold out in less than a week, forcing the singer to push back one date in Brazil in order to add a second successful Colombian stadium show.

If you are one of those little monsters who are still in denial and don’t accept the fact that Lady Gaga is using Madonna’s amazing MDNA TOUR stage structure in her flopped Latin American tour, here’s a time-lapse video of Madonna’s MDNA TOUR stage structure being built for her in Florence, Italy.

Madonna is currently up for “Nomation Selections” for the 2013 People’s Choice Awards in three different categories: Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Album.
You can vote until November 2nd.
The final nominees will be officially announced on November 15th.
You can also add Madonna’s name on other categories, mainly:

NME put online a list of the 50 Worst Music Videos Ever. Lady Gaga’s Judas peaked at #4. Rebecca Black is #1.
This is actually unfair to Lady Gaga.
You know, Rebecca Black had a very low budget for her video (Friday). She couldn’t help it.
Lady Gaga’s Judas is a different story. Judas deserves to be on the #1 position as the worst video ever made because they actually spent loads of money to make the video unbearable. Don’t you agree?

Video: Madonna Vs. Lady Gaga - ROUND 2:
Remember Round 1 here.
Conan O’Brian:
Besides showing a brief and funny interview with Madonna - filmed while she rehearsed at the Yankee Stadium in NYC (click here to watch) - Conan also had something funny to say:

Ellen Degeneres
More clips of Madonna on Ellen are surfacing. All fabulous:
Remember the previous one, with the cute and smart Rocco:

Following Madonna’s mega successful and critically acclaimed performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, a wave of negativity came from little monsters and people who claim they were at the concert in the comments sections of the news agencies that gave Madonna and her show rave reviews.
There is a huge difference though. The positive reviews for the MDNA Tour actually are logically and factually based on things that happen in the show. And as good reviewers, they all mention and name a few of the amazing things that go on on stage (that’s the power of argumentation):
Things like a floating marching band, 3D visual effects, amazing dancing, amazing songs, incredible energy and stage presence, a beautiful and detailed wardrobe - the things that are part of the show and that have undeniable value and quality are always mentioned by the good reviewers in their reviews.
What do the haters say? Stuff like “the show started late”, “Oh, that is so disrespectful”, or “Madonna didn’t sing enough old songs”. When they do realize Madonna, in fact, sings a bunch of old songs in this show and saying the opposite would make it clear they were not there, they say “Madonna changed the arrangements of the old songs”, “no one recognized them”, or even “no one could sing a fan favorite, ‘Like a Virgin’” because “Madonna ruined it”.
Funnily enough, the good reviews are always based on facts, they are impersonal and do not indicate the writer’s personal feelings towards Madonna. The bad ones always mention her age, what she should or should not be doing on stage at her age, and how long they had to wait until the show started. Sometimes, even worldwide known DJs and producers who open for Madonna are dissed in the haters’s rants. Martin Solveig, for example, became merely “some boring DJ” according to a hater that claims he was at the Madonna show recently. This hater also said that the MDNA show was “the worst concert” of his life.
If you personally like Madonna or not, it doesn’t matter. But when writing about her show, at least, try to be a little impersonal, less emotional and more professional One thing no one can take away from Madonna: the value of her productions, the quality of everything involved in putting her show together, the talents of Madonna and her entire team. So ignoring the production value and just going on a rant on how “bad” the show was in your opinion without any factual piece of information only makes you sound desperate. Madonna still has renowned critics raving about the MDNA TOUR.
But there is one thing that many people are saying (both the haters and some reviewers) that I feel like I must intervene and clarify - not because of the haters, but because of some good reviewers who sometimes, get a little confused, even when writing an extremely positive review, like this one here.
Some people make it sound as if the MDNA TOUR does not have enough “old hits”. When they do mention the old hits played in the current tour, they say ludicrous things like “they are completely rearranged from their original version”. I even read people saying that “they are unrecognizable” - this kind of comment is unfair and bluntly wrong.
So I made a video that compares the original versions of some “old” songs Madonna plays on the MDNA TOUR. Watch it, and tell me if I am wrong:
So for those who insist in saying “Madonna changed the arrangement of her old songs” on a negative tone, let’s face the fact:
Only two old songs in the MDNA TOUR received completely new arrangements:
1) Open Your Heart - which received an acoustic “tribal” Basque treatment, but kept the same melody (which everybody knows).
2) Like a Virgin - which was completely re-invented. Madonna transformed its music and melody.
All the other old songs (and I call “old songs” the ones released before the year 2000) were played in their original arrangement, or as close to their original arrangements as possible. And that includes:
3) Papa Don’t Preach
4) Express Yourself
5) Vogue
6) Human Nature
7) Like a Prayer
I could have added two other “old songs” that are also played close to their original formats:
8) Holiday
9) Everybody
I did not include Holiday and Everybody in that video only because they are not part of the definitive set-list of the show.
However, whenever Madonna decides to play these before-the-year-2000 hits, they are all close to their original, official versions.
So writers and haters, please stop trying to make it sound as if Madonna is making it hard for people to enjoy her old hits based on a single song that received a completely new arrangement (Like a Virgin). The fact is: all the other songs are instantly recognizable. It will be hard for you to attest the opposite with the little video I made as evidence.
So for every hater out there, there are tons of music critics and other celebrities raving about the MDNA Tour, basing their opinions on facts, and not on their butt-hurt egos.

Los Angeles Times: “She’s Madonna, and nobody does this stuff better. Not Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Ke$ha, Rihanna, Christina or any of the other generations of pop stars who have used as a model Madonna’s tightly crafted concerts/dance showcases/art projects/spectacles. Some of them may be better singers or more acrobatic, or offer cheaper ticket prices”
LA Weekly says Madonna is “Better than any pop music’s current Madonna-wannabe starlets”. then they name check “[Lady Gaga], Rihanna, Britney, Christina, Pink, J-Lo, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, and even edgier artists such as Robyn and Peaches, and recent collaborators MIA and Nicki Minaj” and attest “the entire lot would surely admit to the queen of pop’s influence”.
Examiner.com: Lady Gaga, Kesha, Rihanna, and Katy Perry may be cooler to the younger generation than Madonna these days, but last evening’s show demonstrated how far ahead of the pack Madonna still is. The Queen of Pop’s reign has just been extended.
And what about the celebrities? Oh, so many celebrities on the first night! And they all LOVED it:
The fabulous Rose McGowan was there. It seems she is a big fan. Love her even more.

Neil Patrick Harris was there and made a joke on the feud between his friend, the diva Elton John and his co-star (or main star) in the movie The Next Best Thing.
The beautiful Heidi Klum was also there:

And so were Emma Roberts, Jessica Alba, Mark Salling, Ashley Madekwe, Robyn, A.J. McLean, David Burtka, Extra TV host Terri Seymour and so many more.
All these celebrities will most likely be receiving a free ticket for the Lady Gaga’s Born Reductive High School Musical Ball. We all know how she tries hard…
I was sent this video by queenm4donna and it had me laughing so hard.
Any comments?
So what did you guys think of Christina Aguilera’s “Your Body” video?
