Have you seen what Elton John recently said about Madonna? I'd love to hear your response.

I sort of understand why Madonna is a nightmare to Elton John. There are so many reasons for him to consider her as a nightmare:

First of all, she pays no attention to him. Every time he criticized her, she either did not respond, or when she did respond, her comments had always been wittier and classier than his bitter attacks. Who knows what his real problem is?

Maybe he resents her because she does not worship the ground he walks on. Madonna has indeed said great things about Elton John over the years, but it seems the bitter diva wanted more worshiping from Madonna. Sorry, Elton, it’s not her style.

Maybe he considers her as his “nightmare” because she makes him look bad.

You know, she’s been around for 30 years and she does not need to go on a joint tour to sell out shows worldwide but he does. She does it successfully on her own, he can’t. That must be a nightmare for someone with a huge ego.

Maybe he thinks she’s a nightmare because her albums with NEW SONGS go straight to #1. Unlike him, Madonna does not need to redo her past hits to reach the top of the charts. 

I love it how she says “her career is over”, it shows how out of touch with reality he is.

Do I need to point out that the MDNA Tour is already among the top 10 biggest tours in history?

He also needs to learn that the MDNA album (which consists of NEW songs) is currently the 5th best selling album in 2012 worldwide.

When was the last time Elton John had an album of NEW SONGS in the top 5 best selling albums worldwide? When was the last time Elton John went on a tour by himself (not a joint tour) and entered the top 10 most successful tours in history? 

So maybe, in Elton John’s drug-corroded mind, Madonna is a nightmare because she still is incredibly successful on her own, touring by herself and making new music in successful albums.

Madonna is definitely a nightmare for a desperate under-performing has-been whose last real hit only became a hit because it was promoted as an homage to the people’s Princess and worldwide known philanthropist, Princess Diana.

And even that song was not original. It was a reworked version of his homage to another public person, Marilyn Monroe. So yeah, Elton John’s last hit (1997) was also a reworked version of an old hit of his.

Not to mention that cashing in over Princess Diana’s death and not even writing a a new song for/about her is the most repugnant thing to do. He simply changed the references in the song, when it was about Norma Jean, he talked about Diana.

And that’s the career Elton John has had since the 90s - reworking his old hits, and making music to Disney movies - and that is as bad as becoming a resident performer in Las Vegas.

So I understand why he sees Madonna as a nightmare. She has not fallen into oblivion.

No wonder why Elton John loves Gaga. Any similarities between “Candle in the Wind” and “Princess Die” is NOT purely coincidental. They are both bitter bitches, they’re like ticks, waiting to suck someone’s blood for a living, waiting to cash in on someone else’s expense, including their death. Remember when Amy Winehouse died and Gaga said they were friends and were thinking about a duet?

I also love it how Elton mentioned Madonna making “dance music” as if she were jumping on a bandwagon. Love it!

“If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly. But no, she had to go and prove… ”

Prove what? That she is the biggest dance music star in the world?

What is Ray of Light, anyway? Oh, a dance record.

What about Confessions On a Dance Floor? Another dance record.

Music, anyone? A dance record.

What about Madonna’s first album? Oh, I know! A dance music album as well.

Apparently, bitter diva Elton John does not know a lot about music besides creating music to the lyrics written by other people and given to him.

Madonna is the biggest dance music artist in the world. Bigger than the incredible disco queen Donna Summer and the Pet Shop Boys!

Not to mention that Madonna was one of the first stars to redefine the role of dance music and re-establishing it in the mainstream when she insisted in publishing different and exclusive dance versions of her songs for clubs, when other musicians would only do dub versions and extended mixes of their original songs.  

“Madonna looks like a fucking fairground stripper.” 

Well, at least she can be the stripper. She looks good enough to do so. But what about Elton John? He can’t be a stripper, so he clumsily dances around strippers.

So don’t worry boys, Elton John has no issues with strippers, unless they have a penis.

But I think Elton John got a little confused when he made those comments about Madonna looking like a stripper. He simply did not recognize his pal (Lady Gaga) when he saw the following picture. Let’s be honest, the one who “looks like a fucking fairground stripper” is not Madonna, but Lady Gaga:

Yeah, because Madonna making a statement about the BTW/Express Yourself nearly a year after the whole world talked about it is a horrible thing to do. 

I wonder what he would say about Madonna if she had attacked Gaga the same way he and his wifey David Furnish attack Madonna.

But, yeah, Elton John is a wonderful human being and he is morally equipped to judge Madonna. Remember, he is the gay guy who got married to a woman in the 80s desperately trying to avoid any association with the gay community in order to save his career. He is the one who made fun of Madonna on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards in 2012 with no reason to. But Madonna is the horrible person because she (just like the entire world), recognized the similarities between her song and Lady Gaga’s.   

The bitter diva Elton John surely has lost his mind. He has no sense of reality whatsoever.

“Working with Gaga failed to make Elton relevant, so he decided to shade Madonna again”.

That is the absolute truth.

Every time one needs some media attention, they say something negative about Madonna, or blatantly copy her, knowing that the media will compare them with the Queen of Pop Culture.

And then he says “her career is over”.
